Architecture is known as one of the most important engineering specialties, also referred to as "architectural engineering" or "architecture engineering." It is one of the most commonly offered programs in Turkey, available in both English and Turkish.
Key subjects in architecture programs at Turkish universities include building management, engineering systems, urban design, landscape design, design principles, architectural art, architectural history, and architectural drawing, among others.
Graduates of architecture may work as building contractors, independent architects, architectural supervisors, or specialized home decor designers, among other roles.
The duration of studying architecture in Turkey is four years, preceded by a preparatory year for learning Turkish or English, depending on the language of instruction.
