It also involves monitoring production processes, ensuring safety procedures when handling chemicals, designing and planning equipment, and improving manufacturing processes, among other tasks.
Fields of work for chemical engineers include pharmaceuticals, food industries, cleaning materials, environmental pollution, cosmetics, and many other areas within the scope of chemical engineering.
Chemical engineering programs are available at both public and private universities in Turkey. The duration of studying this specialty is approximately five years, including a preparatory year for learning the language of instruction.

Documents Required for Application and Registration:
1- High School Certificate (Translated into Turkish or English)
2- High School Transcript (All Grades) (Translated into Turkish or English)
3- A Copy of the Passport
4- YÖS, SAT, ACT etc. Exam Result (if any)
5- A Personal Photo
6- Valid English Language Certificate (For English Programs / if any)
7- Turkish Language Certificate C1 (For Turkish Programs / if any)
8- Equivalency Certificate / Denklik (During Registration)
Important Notes:
- Since applications are done electronically, documents must be prepared in PDF format, and after obtaining admission, registration at the university is done in person or through a power of attorney and with the original documents.
- The high school certificate and transcripts (all years of secondary school) must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country.
- Documents must be translated into Turkish by a translator accredited to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by a translator accredited to the Notary Public in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation will not be accepted.
