The specialization of Management Information Systems (MIS) can be defined as a theoretical and applied field that falls within the realm of technology and management, linking information technology with administration.
The work of MIS graduates extends across both governmental and private sectors, including organizations and non-profit institutions. Graduates from this specialization enter fields such as electronic marketing, management, economics, business, commerce, and more.
Among the subjects taught in Management Information Systems are statistics, principles of information technology, principles of computer technology, introduction to business administration, introduction to algorithm programming and design, statistics, mathematics, auditing, marketing principles, e-business, and others.
As for the duration of studying Management Information Systems in Turkey, it typically lasts for four years, with an additional year for learning the teaching language, whether Turkish or English, depending on each university.

1- High School Certificate (Translated into Turkish or English)
2- High School Transcript (All Grades) (Translated into Turkish or English)
3- A Copy of the Passport
4- YÖS, SAT, ACT etc. Exam Result (if any)
5- A Personal Photo
6- Valid English Language Certificate (For English Programs / if any)
7- Turkish Language Certificate C1 (For Turkish Programs / if any)
8- Equivalency Certificate / Denklik (During Registration)
Important Notes:
- Since applications are done electronically, documents must be prepared in PDF format, and after obtaining admission, registration at the university is done in person or through a power of attorney and with the original documents.
- The high school certificate and transcripts (all years of secondary school) must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country.
- Documents must be translated into Turkish by a translator accredited to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by a translator accredited to the Notary Public in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation will not be accepted.
