A software engineer is involved in the design of software and its requirements, from the early stages such as writing code to testing and maintaining the designed programs.
The field of software engineering extends to various areas of work, including creating application software, middleware, or system software, testing existing software, artificial intelligence, web programming, or other operational sectors.
In Turkey, the duration of studying software engineering is four years, in addition to a preparatory year to learn the language of instruction, whether Turkish or English.

1- High School Certificate (Translated into Turkish or English)
2- High School Transcript (All Grades) (Translated into Turkish or English)
3- A Copy of the Passport
4- YÖS, SAT, ACT etc. Exam Result (if any)
5- A Personal Photo
6- Valid English Language Certificate (For English Programs / if any)
7- Turkish Language Certificate C1 (For Turkish Programs / if any)
8- Equivalency Certificate / Denklik (During Registration)
Important Notes:
- Since applications are done electronically, documents must be prepared in PDF format, and after obtaining admission, registration at the university is done in person or through a power of attorney and with the original documents.
- The high school certificate and transcripts (all years of secondary school) must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country.
- Documents must be translated into Turkish by a translator accredited to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by a translator accredited to the Notary Public in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation will not be accepted.
