Turkish Aeronautical Association University was established in 2011 and its main campus is in Ankara. The founder of the university is the Turkish Aeronautical Association Aviation Foundation. Founded on solid foundations and high ideals, the university has a historical background dating back to 1925. Apart from Ankara, the university also has a well-equipped campus in İzmir. As of 2021, the university has 2,986 students, 98 of whom are foreign nationals.
Adopting Atatürk's "The future is in the skies" as a principle, THK University aims to constantly advance in the field of aviation and compete with the era. The university, which provides a qualified education in the field of aviation and space, is the first and only example of our country in this field. With the practical training it provides to its students, it produces graduates with high ideals who improve themselves. The university infrastructure, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, has also been strengthened by experienced and competent academic staff.

The university has 25 fully equipped and state-of-the-art training aircraft. In addition, thanks to the variety of aircraft models in the university fleet, students have different flight experiences.
There are 2 campuses in Ankara and 1 campus in İzmir, and reciprocal flight drills can be made between the campuses. In addition, there are 2 airports and 1 flight runway, which are used as students' practice areas. Again, thanks to facilities such as the application laboratory, simulation center, and operator towers, students have unique experiences during their education.
THK University is the only institution that provides specialization opportunities in the field of space sciences in Turkey. Some of the programs the school specializes in are pilotage and civil aviation.

Turkish Aeronautical Association University International/Foreign Student Admission Conditions and Required Documents for Application:
1- High School Diploma.
2- Transcript.
3- Passport.
4- Personal Photo.
5- TRYÖS, SAT, ACT etc Exam Result (if any).
6- Turkish Proficiency Certificate C1 (TÖMER) (if available).
7- Valid English Language Certificate (for English Language Programs / if available).
8- Equivalence Certificate (During registration / after the acceptance process).
Important Notes You Should Pay Attention to:
- The documents submitted during the application must be in Turkish or English language.
- For Application, you can prepare the documents in PDF format and apply via our website.
- The originals of the documents submitted in the application will be given to the university during registration.
- Registrations are made in person or with an official power of attorney issued by a notary on the dates specified in the acceptance letter.
- High School Diploma and Transcript (entire high school education) must be approved (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the relevant country. (Mandatory for equivalence transactions)
- The Turkish translation of the documents must be made by the Sworn Translator of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by the Notary Sworn Translators in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation is deemed invalid.
- Valid language certificates for English programs: TOEFL, YDS, YÖKDİL.
- Students who do not have a valid language document (Turkish or English) must take and pass the language profecincy exam organized by the university.
- Students who do not have a valid language certificate and fail the profecincy exam will receive 1 year of preparatory education.
