Kutahya Dumlupinar University

Dumlupınar University (DPU), which was established in Kütahya in 1992, is a state university. DPU, whose history dates back to 1974, is a well-established university founded on faculties and colleges separated from Anadolu University. It was renamed Kütahya Dumlupınar University in 2018.

The University is a large educational institution with an enrollment of 45,201 students. In addition, 1,937 international students from various countries are studying at the university.

Setting out with the slogan of adding value to the future, the university aims to bring qualified graduates to the country. DPÜ aims to raise innovative and virtuous individuals who are inquisitive, productive, self-developing, sensitive to the environment and society, and committed to ethical values. In addition, it sees it as a mission to focus on improving the quality of life of the city and region in which it is located and to offer solutions for this purpose.

DPU Sociopark, which was opened for the activities of student communities and the spread of social projects, is the first and only in its field. Cultural, artistic, and sportive activities are actively supported by the university.

Within the university campus, there are various social facilities such as an olympic swimming pool, athletics track, and stadium.

The university, which has been involved in Erasmus, Mevlana, and Farabi Programs for many years, has added the Erasmus Plus program to this list. The University received the "Diploma Supplement Label" from the European Commission for its active activities.

DPU KAMER, the career center of the university, brings together students at the graduation stage and employers on one platform. In addition, it supports students in the process of finding a job by undertaking consultancy services.

According to the worldwide-known Times Higher Education (THE) report, Dumlupınar University is among the youngest and most qualified universities in the world. It is one of the 40 Turkish universities that managed to enter this ranking.

It was ranked 769th among world universities in the SCImago 2021 evaluation which examines the contribution of scientific publications to the world of science.

According to the URAP evaluation, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University is among the top 500 in the world, ranking second among Turkish Universities.
