It is a Foundation University founded in 2013 by the Scientific Research Technology Education and Culture Foundation (BARTEK) in Konya. Konya Food and Agriculture University (KGTÜ), the first specialized university in the field of food and agriculture, started its journey with the idea of "an international university that transforms knowledge into products" and built its academic and technological infrastructure on this idea. It aims to develop the vital information and technologies that our country needs in the field of food and agriculture and to train qualified human resources that will put them into practice. Founded as an international research university, KGTÜ provides its students with the opportunity to have a serious experience and take part in R&D projects without graduating within the framework of university-industry cooperation.
