Established in 2018, Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU) is the city's third state university.
A total of 12,500 students, 343 of whom are foreign nationals, are studying at the university.

There is Hasan Polatkan Airport within the university in order to educate its students in the most qualified way in this field. Located on the İki Eylül Campus, the airport is operated by the University's Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics. International flights operated by airline companies here are an important advantage for students to get to know the profession.
At the university, where sports activities are at the forefront, there are 3 gyms, two of which are on the main campus. These halls host many of the sports competitions held in the city.
