Founded in 1997, Beykent University has taken its place in the world of education as Turkey's 5th foundation university. The university currently has 30,367 students enrolled, with educational programs increasing over the years. Acting with the vision of being a global educational institution, 1,020 international students study at the university.
Established with the support of the Adem Çelik Beykent Foundation, the university is located in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul. Cooperation agreements have been signed with Liverpool John Moores University, a British higher education institution. As a result of this cooperation, many of the academicians came from England and formed the academic staff of the university.

- Valid language certificates for English programs: TOEFL, YDS, YÖKDİL.
- Students who do not have a valid language document (Turkish or English) must take and pass the language profecincy exam organized by the university.
- Students who do not have a valid language certificate and fail the profecincy exam will receive 1 year of preparatory education.
