Batman University

Batman University (BTU) is a state university established in 2007. It is among the pilot universities in the field of energy with its motto "The university that transforms knowledge into energy". More than 700 international students study at Batman University, where a total of 11,710 students are enrolled.

Batman University aims to make its students adopt the ideals of being transparent, impartial, tolerant, and innovative.

Batman University's mission is to produce knowledge at international standards, to expand the horizons of its academic staff and students, and to carry out academic studies for the development of society. There are advanced laboratories in the campus located in the city center that allow the information produced to be consolidated with the application method. It is among the few laboratories of Turkey with its special working areas, research center, and modern equipment.

BTU has an advanced application and research infrastructure, thanks to the workshops in the West Raman Campus and the technical laboratories in each department.

There are social, cultural, and scientific activity areas on the main campus that allow students to have a pleasant time apart from their course activities. The campus is a peaceful living space with 750-person Credit and Dormitories Institution Girls' Dormitory, lodgings, dining hall, health center, and other social facilities.

The library, which has an indoor area of 8000 square meters, has been designed in such a way that individual and collective studies can be carried out and is equipped with the latest technology.

BTU implements international exchange programs such as Erasmus Plus and Farabi in order to offer international students the opportunity to study at a university in Turkey.

It was ranked 826th among world universities in the SCImago 2021 evaluation, which examines the contribution of scientific publications to the world of science.
