Artvin Coruh University (AÇÜ) is a new university that was founded in 2007 and has approximately 11,507 registered students as of 2022, including around 600 foreign nationals. The university aims to provide quality education at the national and international level, and to produce qualified individuals through scientific research and cultural activities. AÇÜ also aims to equip its graduates with the necessary skills for the business world.
The university has four campuses, located in the central district, Seyitler, Arhavi, and Hopa. The Seyitler campus is situated on a large piece of land about 3 km from the city center, while the central campus is located on the banks of the Çoruh River and has modern facilities. AÇÜ offers a wide range of accommodation options in and around the campuses.
The university has a Central Research Laboratory established under the Science-Technology Application and Research Center (BİLTEKMER) at the Seyitler campus, which conducts research and development activities and provides analysis and experimentation services to meet the needs of the region.
AÇÜ also has a health services unit staffed with a nurse and a psychologist, which offers first aid and emergency care services, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure measurement, dressing for minor injuries and burns, and bandaging for sprains.

The university's impressive central library, which looks like a book, includes 40 databases, 25,000 printed books, 55,000 electronic journals, more than 8 million electronic books, and theses. The library has an infrastructure suitable for comprehensive research, with computer, internet, and documentation services.

Important Notes You Should Pay Attention to:

- For Application, you can prepare the documents in PDF format and apply via our website.
- The originals of the documents submitted in the application will be given to the university during registration.
- Registrations are made in person or with an official power of attorney issued by a notary on the dates specified in the acceptance letter.
- High School Diploma and Transcript (entire high school education) must be approved (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the relevant country. (Mandatory for equivalence transactions)
- The Turkish translation of the documents must be made by the Sworn Translator of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by the Notary Sworn Translators in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation is deemed invalid.
- Valid language certificates for English programs: TOEFL, YDS, YÖKDİL.
- Students who do not have a valid language document (Turkish or English) must take and pass the language profecincy exam organized by the university.
- Students who do not have a valid language certificate and fail the profecincy exam will receive 1 year of preparatory education.
