The establishment:
Gazi University was founded in 1926 by Ataturk as the Center for Intermediate Education. It worked to counter the shortage of teachers in the emerging republic.
The name of Gazi University was modified in 1982, where it allocated a brand to itself in the national and international media under the slogan "Being a Veteran is a Privilege".
