The Establishment:

Taurus University was founded by Mersin Educational Foundation (MEV) in 2009, and it is one of the first private universities on the Mediterranean in Turkey. The University offers its educational services under the slogan " A Life Beyond Education ". There are more than 3 thousand registered students at the university and more than 120 international students.

Toros University focuses its activities mainly on education, research and social services. Recognizing the fact that the future is raising by the workforce, the institution sees its duty to provide its students with the curiosity to ask questions.

Mersin Taurus University aims to contribute to scientific, technological and cultural inventions with global standards in an informed manner that addresses local and global problems. The university aims for its graduates to be strong supporters of contemporary and universal moral values.

Taurus University is located in the town of Taurus in the state of Mersin. and it is one of the most famous universities on the Mediterranean, due to its distinguished location in the center of southern Turkey, near the state of Adana. It has a wonderful natural location between the sea on one side and the Taurus mountains on the other. It extends over an area of 210,000 square meters.

Taurus University has four campus departments. It is designed to take into account the coexistence of the common colleges and departments.
