Biomedical engineering in Turkey is an engineering science that combines both engineering and biomedical sciences. It is also known as "medical technology engineering" and has recently become a popular engineering specialty among students.

Graduates of biomedical engineering specialize in purely medical fields, such as designing improved medical devices, biomaterials, equipment, rehabilitation devices, and other related areas.
The duration of studying biomedical engineering in Turkey is four years, with an additional preparatory year for learning the language of instruction, making the total duration five years.

1- High School Certificate (Translated into Turkish or English)
2- High School Transcript (All Grades) (Translated into Turkish or English)
3- A Copy of the Passport
4- YÖS, SAT, ACT etc. Exam Result (if any)
5- A Personal Photo
6- Valid English Language Certificate (For English Programs / if any)
7- Turkish Language Certificate C1 (For Turkish Programs / if any)
8- Equivalency Certificate / Denklik (During Registration)
Important Notes:
- Since applications are done electronically, documents must be prepared in PDF format, and after obtaining admission, registration at the university is done in person or through a power of attorney and with the original documents.
- The high school certificate and transcripts (all years of secondary school) must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country.
- Documents must be translated into Turkish by a translator accredited to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in your country or by a translator accredited to the Notary Public in Turkey. Otherwise, the translation will not be accepted.
