The establishment:

Gebze Technical University GTÜ is a public university established in Kocaeli in 2014. The university was established at the same time as the Gebze Institute of Technology in 1992. The institution, which was one of the high technology institutes in Turkey at the time of its establishment. It was restructured in 2014 under the name Gebze Technical University.

The university has about 8000 students, 250 of which are foreign students. The teaching staff consists of qualified and experienced educators.

Ghabza Technical University participates in Erasmus Plus and similar student exchange programs, the university offers the opportunity for one of every 5 students to study abroad. With this statistic, it provided the highest rate among universities in Turkey.

GTÜ successfully implements university-industry cooperation and creates fields of training and practical training for students. The Career Development Center, which guides the career goals and entrepreneurial dreams of graduates, assumes the role of advisor.
