Balikesir University

Founded on 11 July 1992, Balikesir University has a long history. Located in the city center of Balikesir, the university hosts 37,250 students. In addition, about 850 international students are studying at the university.

Balikesir province and university campuses located in the south of Marmara have all the necessary social facilities for their students. It has two large campuses, the Cagis Campus, which is close to the city, and the Nef Campus, which is located in the city center.

At Balıkesir University, a qualified education service is provided by a wide and experienced academic staff and educators who are experts in their fields. Founded on solid foundations dating back to 1910, the school aims to be an institution that sheds light on the past by drawing strength from history. In addition to education, various activities are organized for the development of social skills. In addition, there are student clubs in 71 different fields, which were created for the professional and social development of students.

With Erasmus Plus, Mevlana, and Farabi exchange programs, foreign students were also offered the opportunity to study abroad, and the doors of the university were opened for them.
